Let's talk about me

I came to design by accident. For the first 6 years after graduating from the University of Kansas, I was the entire IT department for a money management firm in Kansas City. I had a solid career, but I was ultimately unsatisfied. I needed a creative outlet that computers just did not offer. As a diversion, I took a freelance web design job to fill the gap. I quickly realized, I was in the wrong field.

After a few years of freelancing web design to identities, I returned to school for a formal design education. It was time to get back to what I was passionate about: Advertising and design. It was the right choice for me.
